Radio

I have been a producer at BBC Radio for over twenty years, first as a staffer and latterly as a freelancer.

I have worked on Start the Week, In Our Time, Free Thinking, Front Row, Woman’s Hour, and documentaries including The Spark. I have also worked on Outlook on the World Service and produced broadcasts from the Oxford Literary Festival and Hay Festival.

I have produced numerous specials including an edition of Start the Week from Stockholm for the centenary of the Nobel Prize, and another from Moscow on the eve of a presidential election.

I have also been a regular contributor to radio programmes including Free Thinking (on ideology, conspiracy, and elitism), Analysis (on ‘woke capitalism’), and Thinking Allowed (on the progressive case for elitism). I have also presented two Radio 4 programmes: Analysis (on populism) and Four Thought (on the progressive case for authority).
